Background

LendingQB is the best loan origination system you've never heard of. That's because LendingQB actually got its start in 2003 under a different product name, Lender's Office. We were the first company to develop a fully web browser-based loan origination system. We were "in the cloud" before it was fashionable.

However, in 2004 we also released our automated underwriting and loan pricing engine, PriceMyLoan. By 2005, PriceMyLoan was in such high demand that we scaled back sales and marketing efforts on Lender's Office.

After five years of focusing on PriceMyLoan and establishing ourselves as a leading provider of automated underwriting and loan pricing technology, we dedicated more of our resources to Lender's Office.

Our experience implementing PriceMyLoan revealed to us that lenders were using three, four, sometimes five different systems to run their business. They were frustrated by weak integrations and called out for a comprehensive end-to-end platform that gave them everything they needed in one system.

We also learned that lenders weren't just frustrated with their technology, they were frustrated with their technology vendors. They were looking for a technology provider that would really listen to them and respond to their needs. Lenders want more than just a company that makes software; they want a true partner that will play an active role in the growth of their business.

So we spent a considerable amount of time and resources improving Lender's Office until we had built the key components that lenders were looking for in an end-to-end system. More importantly, we maintained the business philosophy that made us successful with PriceMyLoan: constant communication with clients, rapid development cycles and direct execution of solutions.

That's why we decided to change our name to LendingQB. We envision ourselves as more than just a passive provider of technology; we're an active part of your team.
